Golang Job Details

The Post Trade Technology public cloud automation team is responsible for accelerating application migration to public cloud. We are looking for hands on automation engineers with experience in automating everything from build and deployment pipelines to developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for public cloud infrastructure. You will play a critical role in accelerating application modernization and public cloud adoption.

The candidate will be responsible for:
  • Infrastructure as Code (IAC) for various cloud infrastructure including EKS, Lambdas, EMR, EC2 Autoscale and MSK
  • Unified Telemetry across our environments
  • End to end CI/CD pipelines for public cloud deployments
  • Design and develop cloud resiliency patterns and automations to support application SLA/SLO's.
  • Participate in chaos engineering to test application resiliency.
  • Partner with architecture and central cloud platform teams to overcome blockers and accelerate cloud adoption.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years as a cloud automation engineer with public cloud experience
  • Proficiency in one systems programming language (Python/Go preferred)
  • Hands on experience with developing IaC for AWS services
  • Proficient with scripting and automation using Python, Bash and various scripting languages Knowledge of IAM & VPC Networking
  • Devops and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • AWS - Sysops/Solution Architect Certification
  • Datadog
  • Kubernetes CKA/CKAD Certifications
  • Golang
  • Java
